Establish responsibilities before mobilisation. Identify who owns the architecture, each interface, the implementation work and operational acceptance. Include the authority to approve changes and resolve cross-team issues.
Maintain a common programme view. Workstream plans should reference the same dependencies, milestones and acceptance criteria. Review changes against the combined plan, including effects on other partners and business operations.
Apply proportionate review controls. Where risk warrants independent approval, separate implementation and acceptance responsibilities. Review the agreed evidence before authorising a transition into operation.
Prepare a usable handover. Confirm support ownership, operating instructions, escalation contacts and unresolved risks. Record the receiving team’s acceptance and any conditions that remain outstanding.
